Family History Software
Today we looked at a range of programs that can be used to record your family history data. There are more programs out there. The ones we looked at were separated into online storage and those stored on your computer. This was not about research, looking up or finding data, but about where you store what you have found. It was not intended as a "how to use" these programs, rather it was about what features they each have.
Your choices will be influenced by what you need, what you can afford and what you have already been using.
Thank you to our presenters Genni, Gabbie and Chris (and Jeanette who did all the work but didn't get to present the segment).
Check these options out yourself, at the links below (make sure you look at all of the Menu Options and other links).

FamilySearch Online Tree
The first thing to note is that this is not YOUR tree. It is a global tree, with everyone in the world being entered into the same tree, and anybody being able to add, change, merge or delete any of the records (meaning other people can change the data that you have entered).
