The AIF Project, which was once very well-known but then went offline, has returned as Australian Anzacs in the Great War 1914-1918. This site presents on a single page a compilation of the information available on each serviceman from the Embarkation Roll, Nominal Roll and Roll of Honour in the Australian War Memorial.
Also hosted by the Australian Defence Forces Academy (ADFA) is the site called First AIF Order of Battle 1914-18. If you can look past the very dated layout, design and colours; this is a rich source of information.
Flotilla Australia which calls itself The Site of Australian Shipping Lines includes a listing of all HMAT 1914-18 where you will find details of the ships used to move troops to the war zones and then home again.
